ATTENTION:   Owners of Thoroughbreds and Half Thoroughbreds

The North East Thoroughbred Sporthorse Association> has been formed to allow participation in the Jockey Club's Thoroughbred Incentive Program (T.I.P.) and to make it possible to bring together all thoroughbred  and cross-bred owners  to encourage communication, socialization and  develop new ways to enjoy and promote the unique qualities of thoroughbreds, especially  to provide careers for off-the-track thoroughbreds (OTTB).


Horse Show - October 12, 2014
The NORTHEAST THOROUGHBRED SPORTHORSE ASSOC. (NETSA) is hosting an all- Thoroughbred and  half-bred show to be held October 12, 2014 at Saddle Rowe in Medway, MA.
 The NETSA horse show will also benefit CANTER, an organization that provides a safe haven and placement of off-track thoroughbreds. Visit CANTER's website here

Melody, our computer whiz, is a rider, advanced licensed Hunter/Jumper trainer and riding instructor, as well as a  designer of web sites (including NETSA's) and author of an E-Book titled "How to Pick Out, Bring Home, and Train Up an Off Track Thoroughbred".

Anne is owner of an OTTB (a granddaughter of Affirmed) and a Half-Bred (granddaughter of Mr. Prospector) Anne rides dressage & eventing.

Velma holds a Racing Trainer's license, has bred racing Thoroughbreds for years and more recently, crossed Thoroughbred mares with an imported Sporthorse to produce pinto Sporthorses.
Velma was formerly publisher and editor of Northeast Thoroughbred News (final issue 2003).
